Dumplin was moved from one family member's household to another, no one really taking responsibility, until one CROM volunteer couldn't take it any more and agreed to be responsible for her. More about DumplinGood with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids Special Needs: Dumplin has a heart murmur. That does not seem to be a rare thing any more; we're always at the cardiologist. Dumplin has been for her first visit and her first followup. She isn't currently on any meds but is likely to need to visit the cardiologist once a year or so. The procedure is non invasive - they don't even shave them - and you get to stay with them the whole time and watch the ultrasound. The price of the visits is around $375. She may eventually need med but her life expectancy will not be affected. If we find the right home for Dumplin we would consider sharing the cost of the cardiology visits.
