I picked up (literally, no trap required) Indy on July 3 so named her for Independence Day. She had been outside at least a year. When I started feeding these colonies (as a substitute for a woman who is quite ill) Indy is the ONLY cat who was more interested in attention from me than in the food (although she likes food, too). She had cherry eye (if you have a strong stomach and want to see it in color, check google). We had her to the opthalmologist who did surgery and all indications are the surgery was successful. She's also spayed, vaccinated and micrcochipped. She's probably about 2 years old. She is tiny and quiet and timid but just loves her chin rubbed and sitting on laps. She will be best suited for someone with a relatively quiet household, I think. Indoor only, of course. She has suffered through her last snowstorm outside! Excellent vet references and adoption fee required. For more information contact catrescueofmd@mindspring.com
