Leon and his brother (who has been adopted by his foster mom) were found in a backyard in early June. They were about 3 months old. He absolutely adores other cats - he loves to wrestle, chase and sleep with them. He's never met a cat he didn't like. He loves to play with toys also. Sometimes he gets into typical maniac kitten mode and runs over furniture and knocks stuff off tables. He is very good at scratching his claws on sisal posts but will scale furniture to get a nap. He is not keen on being held and is not yet a lap cat but he does like being petted and purrs. He will tolerate being held and cuddled for short periods, especially at canned food feeding time. Leon is an amazing kitten and needs to go into a home with another young cat that he can bond with. Leon is FELV/FIV negative, neutered, vaccinated (rabies and distemper) and microchipped. Indoor home only. If you are interested in Leon and are sure your vet will give you an excellent reference, please contact us for an adoption application at catrescueofmd@mindspring.org. Modest adoption fee required. Renters must have landlord's permission.
